CSL Asia is part of The CSL Group of companies of Montreal, Canada. The CSL Group, with Canadian offices in Halifax, Winnipeg and Burlington, as well as in the Boston area, USA, Singapore and Sydney, Australia, specializes in the operation of self-unloading bulk carriers with inland and deep sea trading capabilities that offer shippers versatility and reliability. The Group operates more than 50 vessels worldwide.

CSL Asia was established in Singapore in1994. It focuses primarily on projects in South East Asia including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.

CSL Asia has been in the forefront of CSL’s growing transhipment capability. With its partner Andhika, it manages the operation of two high capacity transhipment terminals in Kalimantan. Both terminals are capable of transhipping coal from barges to Cape Size vessels .
